About Me
I'm Nina, a UKCP Accredited Contemporary Psychotherapist, EMDR Europe Trained Therapist and Coach.
My understanding of wellbeing has always included both the mind and the body. Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked as a personal trainer, and that experience has continued to shape the way I work with people today.
I don't believe we can separate how we think and feel from what we experience in our bodies. Our experiences, relationships, thoughts, emotions and physical responses are all connected.
My work brings together contemporary psychotherapy, EMDR and nervous-system-informed, body-aware approaches to help you understand yourself more deeply and create meaningful change.
I care deeply about creating a therapeutic space where you feel safe, understood and able to be yourself. I believe meaningful change happens through a strong therapeutic relationship, genuine curiosity and compassionate support.
My aim isn't simply to help you feel better in the moment. It's to help you develop greater self-awareness, self-trust and confidence in your ability to navigate life — with compassion for your past self and belief in your future self.
My Approach
My work is informed by contemporary psychotherapy and EMDR and shaped by the belief that therapy should adapt to the individual — not the other way around.
I work in a relational, collaborative way, taking time to truly listen and understand what is happening beneath the surface. Together, we explore your experiences, emotions and patterns, and identify new ways of responding that feel supportive and sustainable.
I'm particularly interested in helping you understand the connection between your mind and body. Sessions may include EMDR, reflective conversation, and body-aware, nervous-system-informed approaches. Where helpful, I may encourage gentle reflection or experimentation between sessions to support ongoing change.
Therapy with me isn't simply about understanding why you feel the way you do. It's about using that understanding to create meaningful change in how you think, feel, respond and relate — both to yourself and to others.
I want you to notice your progress, develop greater self-trust and confidence, and build tools and understanding that continue to support you beyond our sessions.

Psychotherapy Sessions are 50 minutes.
For coaching sessions you can choose between 50 minutes or 90 minutes. The majority of clients find 90 minutes most effective.
-
In your first psychotherapy session we will explore what is bringing you to therapy and what you hope to achieve (don’t worry if you are unsure of this - we will figure it out together). I will ask you about your current support system, lifestyle and enquire about any significant events that might be helpful for me to know. I will guide you through the session and we will go at your pace.
